I know when I first stepped into the Ritual Cafe, I instantly took note of quiet energy of the ambience permeating within the loud hip music. Even the baristas artfully pour coffee forming it into a type of design floating on top the foam...an impressive craft that is not practiced frequently enough nowadays. Looking around, I observe the variety of actions that are taking place. There are some people are sitting alone, some are quietly typing away at their laptops with headphones in their ears secluding themselves from the rest, while others read printed media, there are those who are engaged in a lively conversation with their own company.
So you're sitting down with your elegant cup of mocha typing away at your laptop, perhaps even trying to productive even during your coffee break, occassionally glancing up from your work from time to time. You see familiar faces of other regulars and thoughts emerge, do you take the intiative to smile and acknowledge them, or do you wait until they've acknowledged you, or decide to keep to yourself?
